FAQ

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that focuses on restoring movement and function, reducing pain in individuals affected by injury, illness, or disability. We achieve this through various treatments such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, electrotherapy. Physiotherapy can help people of all ages with a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Musculoskeletal problems (e.g., back pain, arthritis, sports injuries)
  • Neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, Parkinson's disease)
  • Cardiorespiratory conditions (e.g., asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • And many more.

No, we treat individuals of all backgrounds! While we love working with athletes, we treat anyone suffering from musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries, pre and post- orthopedic surgeries.

Each person’s condition is unique. We first conduct a thorough evaluation to understand the cause of your pain and its current presentation. From there, we can provide a personalized treatment plan and an estimate of how many sessions you may need.

It’s best to start by booking a session with our physiotherapist. After assessing your knee pain, the physiotherapist will guide the SNC specialist in creating a tailored workout plan that suits your condition. If rehabilitation is necessary before SNC training, our physiotherapist will handle that and refer you accordingly.

At INSPIRE  we believe in the power of movement & prioritize exercise therapy and manual therapy. However, we do use electrotherapy IN acute cases to help reduce pain and inflammation.

If you’re experiencing pain, limited movement, or have sustained physical injury, our physiotherapists can assess your injury and guide you on the best course of action. If we feel that you should see an orthopedic doctor, we will refer you accordingly.

Currently, we focus on orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, and sports-related injuries. While we do not treat neurological or cardiovascular conditions, we can help with pain, such as sciatica, caused by issues like disk prolapse.

Absolutely! Even if you’re injury-free, we offer musculoskeletal assessments, screenings and strength testing. Based on the results, we’ll create an individualized strength and conditioning program to enhance your performance and prevent future injuries.

Yes, we emphasize teaching exercises that you can do at home to help you become more independent in your recovery. If ongoing rehabilitation at the clinic is needed, we typically recommend in-clinic sessions spaced out through the week in a way that best suits your rehabilitation.

Massage therapy can help alleviate muscle tightness and improve mobility. However, we recommend seeing our physiotherapist first. They will assess your condition and provide the best approach to managing your pain, which may include massage therapy or other treatments.
